Panache Sports Bra

My Panache sports bra arrived promptly. It is comfortable and washes well. The only slight negative is that when using the clip to convert to a racer back, it becomes a little tight even with straps at their loosest.

I'm a bra fitting consultant at Bravissimo, so I knew exactly how this bra should fit me and I think it is excellent. Normally, I wear a 34G, but as this is a sports bra I went up a back size and dropped a cup size, making me a 36FF. Sports bras often have a very tight fitting back for the extra support, when you get the bra to fit right, it won't feel as if it is suffocating you, it'll just feel as if it's supporting you.

To those who have given this sports bra a bad review due to the fit, I recommend going for a fitting in one of the many Bravissimo stores, we'll help this bra feel right for you and when it does, it is absolutely excellent!

The support is amazing, you feel absolutely secure when you are exercising. Also, its a lovely shape and the padded straps and moulded cups make for extra comfort. I for one love this sports bra! I also love the new hot pink colour as some money is given to breast cancer awareness, a charity very close to my heart. I recommend this bra to any girl with big boobs who wants support while they're exercising!

Ouch is all i can say I can only seem to wear this bra for maybe 3 hrs until i am in agony from the underwire will this ever stop never will i buy this again

I have just started running again after having a baby and struggled to find a running bra in H cup. This bra is good for running providing you use the racer back, without it there would not be enough support. Overall good product but no competition for running bras over F cup so it's this or nothing.

This bra gives an excellent shape and is comfortable. I would say that there is still some bounce when the straps are done normally but if you use the racer back clip then there is no bounce. However, I find it incredibly tight when the clip is in place even with the straps as loose as they'll go and I didn't think I was very broad in the back. As far as size goes I just went for my normal bra size which is perfect.

Excellent bra, have just started horse riding again and this bra provides excellent support as well as being comfortable.

I ordered this sports bra off the internet for my daughter and she is very happy with it. She does lots of exercise classes and running and she finds that It offers much more support than other exercise bras and also looks very nice.

Recently purchased this and have been really happy with it. I don't get "mono-squashed-boob" like i have with previous styles of sports bra.

LOVE this bra! I'm a 32F so finding something that works is and always has been a job. This bra takes the cake. Does everything I want it to do and more plus it is fashionable and looks great. Worth checking in with customer service for some fit advice since the sizing isn't like some of the others!

I recently bought the Purple Panache Bra in 28G - I'm usually a 30FF, but after l looked at the reviews and the advice on the page, I went down a back-size and up a cup. Great advice! The bra fits well and it really does stop them moving as much! I was jumping around the room testing it! Such a good buy!

I bought my usual in Panach size 28F, but I found it too big in the band. And it's not very supportive, can't use it for running. But bra looks nice.

An all-round purpose sports bra. Sizing is accurate, previously wore 36DD and found it too big around back. 34E fits beautifully. It is not bulky to wear under clothing, though padded - it gives plenty of support and gives a good shape even after numerous washing (by hand) no conditioner.
The added hook to give cross over effect works well when doing active sports and easy to undo.
So comfortable, I have worn it on a daily basis and own more than one - good value for a sturdy bra.

I bought this bra as a replacement for the same bra (in black)
which had a manufacturing fault. This time I went for the pink, partly because I love the colour, but also for the charitable donation. I think that this bra is superb, as I need a 36G, and it's the only bra I have found, which is supportive enough that I am comfortable running when I wear it.

Really pleased with this bra. I prefer under wired bras because as a 34H I usually get terrible "mono-boob" with the non-under wired ones. This is great - comfortable, secure and stylish and more to the point I don't move!

This bra is fantastic. Comfortable, extremely supportive (I'm a 32G) and stylish. Even with the racer back option in place it is easy to put on (I've found it possible just to give up trying to get into some other makes of bra!). I have found that the same size as whatever your "ordinary" bra size is perfect for this bra too. My bra is very new and I don't know yet how well it will wear. I've never before bought a padded bra and this one is definitely that. It is a great success and I will certainly buy again, even if it is very bulky when you aren't wearing it - in the airing cupboard, the chest of drawers and so on!

I love this bra! I have one in each available colour.
It keeps everything in place - well worth the investment.

This is the 3rd one of these I have bought as it is the best sports bra I have found. I have tried several other types and intend to continue buying only this one. I followed the sizing guidelines recommended on the website and found this fits perfectly. For running, circuit training, bodycombat etc. I always clip the racer back option so everything stays in place. It feels very secure, and gives a much better shape than any other sports bra I have tried.

Really great - I was quite surprised, as I've never found anything as good as the Enell! But amazingly comfortable, holds things in place, very happy indeed, nice to have options for larger ladies without compromising on comfort! (G-cup)

Love this bra. So much so I have it in black, pink and the red/white and blue! Comfortable, functional and give a great shape. I've gone down through cup sizes as I have lost weight. This is the only sports bra for me and I would recommend it to anyone with boobs (I'm a C-E cup).

This bra is awesome.I am a heavy busted young woman 38G and I wanted to get back to working out but never had luck with a sports bra until now.

I ordered this (dropping the size and increasing the cup size as suggested). Although it fitted, I found rather too much flesh was pushed out under my arms
and decided to send it back.

This is the best sports bra I have ever used: I have bought 3 in different colorways. Very comfortable & supportive.
As others have said, take a size smaller in the back, & larger cup size than usual.

Feels good quality and fits well if a little generous. Gives a much better shape than the non-wired equivalents so can wear it under close fitting t- shirts. Very pleased with this purchase.

I love this - it doesn't hold everything in place as tightly as the Enell, but much better than any other brands I've tried. It seems to be one of the few sports bras that is functional AND gives a nice shape, which is an important confidence-booster when I am dancing. The little hook at the back to convert it to a racer back is a nice touch, too.

Love this bra! Having had to wear two sports bras this is excellent. I do a lot of running and there is no chaffing of the skin which I've found with some other bras. I'm 36dd I ordered a 34e which is a great fit.

Best bra ever. Have it in every colour. Virtually no chest movement when running, plus great shape under a normal t-shirt too.

today ireceive my fourth sports bra in size 30H my size is 28HH and because its out of range i made the back of 30H ,[28] i go to the tailor and i ask to fix my band,now the bra is perfect ,you dont need to go a cup down ,if you fix the back then its all good .if you are in double letter cup DONT GO DOWN A CUP just fix it ,then you see the different .i hope some day panache made double letters cups .i really love this bra iam wearing everyday ,every hour morning and night. its the best bra i have ever wear

I am normally a 34H but ordered a 34G (on the advice of many) which fit perfectly. The bra itself is really comfortable, great uplift and very supportive.

However, I was really disappointed with the bra's performance under pressure, by pressure I mean during my Body Attack class. The bra performed well during the warm up but once the jumping jacks and high knee running came in this bra let me down. My breasts were hurting from the jumping around and at one point I had to hold my breast down in order to complete the exercise!

Being a size 16, I'd recommend this bra for low to medium impact classes, but not high impact.

I had really high hopes for this bra but it seems for now am going back to wearing a sports bra and a crop bra for extra support. :(

This is the 2nd Panache Sports Bra that I've bought in the last 4 months .... I have a large chest and run & cycle. Other bra's I've worn have rubbed after a long time wearing, but not with this. So comfortable, just used them whilst cycling from Cambridge to Paris. Also they are very pretty and I don't mind showing it!!! If you run/cycle/triathlons or any sport to be fair, I would recommend. I'm normally a 38E and bought a 38D.

I returned this bra as although require big cup size I found it too much in overall cover. I didn't like the shape and it felt as bit like armour plating, if that isn't too rude!

I loved the last panche sports bra and this is a good replacement. Much reduced bounce and very comfortable. I'm a 32H and find the best fit a 32G in this bra, my sport is running.

I took the advice of going down 1 backside & up 2 cup sizes & ordered a 30FF (usually being a 32E).
Great fit & with it being Underwired you don't get a monoboob.
Very VERY supportive. My chest hardly moves but I don't find it restrictive.
I have always worn 2x high level sports bras to run, but not anymore thanks to my new best friend :)

I found the sizing of this bra strange and had to go down a cup size from the usual Freya designs. It fits well, gives a nice shape and does help reduce bounce although I don't think it's by 80%+, I would buy another, just waiting for another limited edition colourway!

A very comfortable supportive bra and one more plus is that it looks great as well. Bought one first but realized immediately that you need at least two so you have time to wash one so added two more now having three....

This is my fourth panache sports bra and this one is every bit as good as the last 3. I can't recommend it enough

I used the websites advice and used the measure guide, I was a bit worried as it measured me 2 sizes bigger than I normally wear but ordered the size recommended which was a 40G. I chose this sports bra as the other reviews were very good. The fit was perfect. I am quite impressed with the bra, although it doesn't stop all the moving around on the chest wall it has almost stopped the awful harsh bouncing of the boobs, this is all down to the extra clip on the straps at the back, although this is very difficult to do up and undo by yourself it really makes this bra work well. For us larger ladies I think totally eliminating all movement is impossible but this bra really makes running comfortable for me. I think it was a great purchase and would probably stick to this brand.

I love this bra - plain and simple! It is the best no bounce bra ever (even better than the 1999 Nike encapsulated scoop back bra that I've sworn by). The LessBounce team was FABULOUS about working with me to get the right fit and once you have the right fit - you will LOVE this bra!

Pay attention to what everyone says about ordering down from your regular size - so very true! I now have five of this bra and it is so supportive and comfortable I often wear it to work! Provides really good bust line (no uni-bust with this bra)! Love, love, love it!

Fits really well and I love the way it doesn't smoosh your boobs together but keeps them quite separate. Very little bounce when running or doing aerobics - would definitely buy another. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the little hook at the back of the bra (that joins the straps together to make it a "racer back") is almost impossible to do up and undo on your own - or perhaps that's just my lack of flexibility!

Nice bra, not sure it gives the best support so have been wearing it for spin and Pilates, don't think I would buy another one. I think it's probably better for a smaller chest size, I'm 34h and maybe I just prefer the 'strapped down' feeling

I don't often write reviews but I love this bra. It was so comfy from the minute I put it on. It gives a very nice shape as well, not the usual flattened sports bra look. It is a little padded but I haven't got too warm in it yet. Recommended it to a friend who bought one and loved it as well.

Really pleased with this - I bought a 30FF. I followed the sizing guidelines and went for 1 chest size smaller than usual and 2 cup sizes larger & it fits fine, nice and tight. I haven't bought a proper sports bra before but have just started running at the age of 40 and this has made such a difference to me. I never thought I would enjoy running but memories of embarrassing school cross country runs with things bouncing all over the place are finally fading . Why didn't they make bras like this 25 years ago?!

Fell in love with the colour (purple) immediately. Still felt like I had some bounce (I'm a 30H - very awkward size) until I discovered the fastener on the straps at the back which pretty much eliminates the bounce completely (although it is a little tight). Don't usually like padding in bras, but I think this is what makes it comfortable. The real test will be whether the comfort lasts when gymming/zumba-ing passed an hour...

This is the best sports bra I have owned. Unlike other models, it doesn't rely on squashing your boobs as close as possible to your body to stop the bounce. As a result, you still have a nice profile when you're wearing it (if that kind of thing matters to you - it does to me). I wear it for horse riding and it's really comfy and, although it doesn't completely stop the bounce it's about 90% there. The colours are great too - the purple is lovely and the grey is very smart with the lilac trim. I have 3 of these now and they will definitely be my sports bra of choice for some time to come.

Great bra, bought the same size as I have for Freya Bras and no problems. I'm doing a lot of hard training for my trail marathon in July and had no issues. It even survived my running club plyometrics session which involves lots of exaggerated bouncing activity. Between this and my new Freya underwired bra, this is my first use of underwired bra's for sport and I'm very happy, no rubbing or chaffing (even with a HRM on). Would buy another one

Was fitted in a store for this bra , and then bought a second one on line. Best sports bra I' ve ever bought . Am size 32H but 32G fits better in this bra. excellent support.

I love this bra, it looks really nice and feels quite comfortable (not sure I've got my size right but perhaps I should have had myself measured 1st as my weight has changed several times recently and I followed the instructions on this website based on the bra size I'd been wearing most recently). Very supportive though and much easier to put on than the new Shock Absorbers!

This bra is excellent. I am a 38E and this is by far the most comfortable sports bra I've ever had. It looks great, is perfect for lower impact exercise, such as walking/ cycling/ pilates with the straps set normally, but for added shock absorption, 'racerising' the back means you can jump about as much as you like and nothing will move! I would thoroughly recommend it.

I'm training for a marathon and needed new sports bras. I loved this bra when I put it on. It looked good and felt good. I found it fine for shorter runs, up to 10 miles. However, I wore it on an 18 mile run and the pain from the chafing was terrible. The whole underside of my breasts and a bit in the cleavage was rubbed raw.
I had taken the advice to go up a cup size and I think this was a big mistake- no compression at all and my breasts moved inside the cups. I'm back to the Champion sports bra which has been my sports bra for many years- the compression and soft fabric do what I need.

From Selaine: it does sound as if this bra is the wrong size - any sports bra causing chafing is moving too much, usually as it is too big. For anyone on long runs try and tighten your bra before you go - if anyone needs more advice on sports bras chafing - please email us info@lessbounce.com

I was previously wearing the Freya Active Underwired Sports Bra in 30H as this was the most supportive bra I could get my hands on. Was less than ecstatic about the very defined (read: pointy) shape, but it was a minor price for having the girls under control during runs. I wear the Panache in 28H - both the band and the cups are slightly more generous than the Freya - to get the same support, and the fit and shape are divine. A nice well-rounded and uplifted shape that doesn't make me look like Malibu Barbie or Madonna circa 1987. I will continue to almost exclusively wear this bra during runs, boxing, and jiu jitsu.

I've commented before about this bra, but have been reading the 1 star comments with interest. Have you all tried the racer back option? At 34GG I find with this bra this is the best way to stop the bounce even more if you feel too 'bouncy' with the normal option. I play high impact sports so lots of running and i've had no problems. In fact i've never felt so secure and I love that I can breathe, unlike in the past where I often felt too restricted from having the tightness of wearing multiple sports bras! I have just purchased another one I like them so much.

A snug fitting bra that holds you secure whatever you get up to. Straps stay up without the sports clip though I found that the straps did not extend long enough to use this feature for myself. Other that that an excellent option for running, horseriding or in the gym.

I found this to be a very good bra for running, despite my e cups!

Followed sizing advice on website and spot on - normally wear a Shock Absorber sports bra but read hype and am suitably impressed. Slightly more bounce than expected/claimed but well made, supportive & looks better than Shock Absorber, would buy again.

Really comfortable and fits well. Looks a bit odd as it's more moulded than some other sports bras but really happy with it once it's on.

Nice, very supportive bra but did give me a bit of a Jessica Rabbit look - hubby thought it was great! Well padded shoulder straps although rubbed a little bit around the middle but overall very good for horse riding and jogging.

As a sporty 34F lady, i have tried many different brands over the years claiming to be the "Best". Well i feel this is the ONE! I have recommended it to many of my friends, who now also would'nt wear anything else. We must'nt let it disappear.

It is one of the most comfortable sports bra's I have ever worn. Bought for long didstance running and seems to keep everything under control. Slight down side in that it has rubbed in a couple of places, where the wire finishes on the front right side of my breast and under my left breast.

Very comfortable. Had to go down a back size and stay same on cup size to get good fit. Super support without feeling tight. Only downside is it is handwash only so if you use it a lot you may need a few.

I find mine very comfortable for my Zumba class and running.

I went up a cup size and down a back size as they suggested and it fits lovely!

I have tried this bra now for yoga, exerciser, jogging and cycling. I am a 38D I normally use moving comfort or enell. I have to say this bra does perform well and I am more than happy with it's performance and comfort I think personally it just takes a bit of getting used to but I would buy another

Nothing is ever going to eliminate all movement in D+ cups except maybe taping them down (ouch!). I'm a 34G and this bra is the holy grail. The first sports bra that works and looks good and is comfortable, with a racerback option. Amazing shape. Yes there is still some bounce but it is not painful.

I am a 32h and have managed to eek out my old panache moulded sports bras since they stopped making them so I was very pleased to see this new style.



I like the feel of the fabric and how easily it dries. Nothing is ever really going to stop the bounce but I think this bra is really getting there.

I purchased a number of bras from this site and this being one of them I enjoy running and found that it rubbed a bit - the gab between my breasts - the Shock absorber N109 is much better if running.

I followed the instructions re size and fit when I ordered. been away and got back to find parcel with a bra that was too tigh in the band and huge in the cuos. Will return it for a better size as I like the look and feel of it.

One of the most comfortable bras I have ever worn, the straps on the shoulder in particular and gives you a lovely shape, true to size. However, for me, it doesn't give adequate support when running, as still bounce alot with this bra. However, I now wear it as a day to day bra due to the comfort.

Sorry,maybe it's the size issue & I need to go up a cup-size as I didn't see that advice when I bought it,but I still bounced,& I had chafing.

I like this bra, I like the - I like the wide fastening strap which makes everything feel secure - I LOVE the padding which stops cold nipples sticking out for all to see....BUT who wants to hand wash a sports bra?

Does anyone else throw theirs in the machine with the other stuff?

Very strange sizings. I'm normally a 36DD but this was far to big in the cup - changed for a 36D and cup was okay but strange amount of extra material under the arms, if you know what i mean. Really has to be tried on before purchase as doesn't seem to conform to other makes.

Having heard that this would be the 'ultimate sportsbra' and being a 30G, I was expecting great things. I'm used to wearing two sports bras, and admittedly it is more comfortable than that, but there is still a lot of movement. More work needed!

I usually wear a Royce sports bra and ordered the same size in the Panache - too big! Went down a cup size and got a good fit but there is more bounce than I would like. Everything I had read lead me to expect a better result, won't be buying another:-(

Comfy bra, and I'll wear for gardening and cycling, but not running. There is not enough support across the top of each breast. There needs to be an upside down semi circle of support somehow woven into the fabric across the top and down into the cleavage area. Better luck next time Panache.

Bought two of these as soon as available, no good for tennis as front of bra rides up, I'm usually a 38G, and read a few days later on the web site that sizing can be a problem, I wished I'd known that before.

Nowhere near enough support for running for my 34E, despite having tried several sizes. Didn't like the bulky feel and looks either. Will stick to Enell - may not look glamourous but does the job. This doesn't.

I'm 36DD and wear Enell for running but they are expensive and can chafe sometimes so thought I'd try this. The hype claims they spent years and millions in designing it and I'm afraid to say they have wasted their time and my money, the support is woeful, no better than an ordinary bra. Do not buy!

I'm a 65 year old 34 H cup who never thought she would get a bra to control the dreaded bounce when exercising !! My bust no longer bounces around when running it actually stays put.......Brilliant !!!

This bra is very comfortable and supportive and for a change it doesn't feel like you can't breathe when it's on properly.

Would recommend it to anyone with a large chest who enjoys aerobic activities (esp Zumba!) I've got two!!

This is a really great bra for running I am an F cup and it really helps reduce the bounce and gives a better shape. also wear the Enell Bra which also gives excellent support but not such a good shape and not as comfy as the Panache

Firm but really comfortable. There was no rubbing or uncomfortable stitching that irritated my skin which I have experienced with other bras.

Best feature, it doesn't fold into a crease under your bust. Gives you a good shape and greatly reduces bounce as it states.

I wrote a review a while ago saying that this was the best sports bra ever, and it is! I chuck mine in the washing machine, and even tumble dry it with my other clothers, and it's fine.

This bra is Great, it is comfortable and very supportive. I play netball regularly and this bra is perfect. You can't feel the underwires during high intensity workouts. I am ordering another one as it is so good! I am a 32FF normally and ordered the 32G and it was perfect!

This bra has been excellent, i am a 32GG and do lots of running. All previous sports bras have left me with painful chafing in various places. However with this bra that hasn't happened at all. I do still bounce though! It looks great and the material is really soft. I would recommend it.

I love this bra. As someone with 34GG boobs who plays a lot of high impact sport I love the fact that 1)I don't get the 'monoboob' effect and 2)I don't feel I need to wear 3 bras together to feel 'secure'. Thanks for finally realising that women with big boobs DO strenuous exercise and need support!

At 30G, I need a bra that supports. This one is great as it doesn't push you in and leave you breathless! I was professionally measured and fitted in a shop recently and went with the same size - which is perfect. It gives a good shape too if you want it for more general wear.

I've had success in the past with sports bras i.e. reducing bounce, increasing comfort etc. But I call them my bolder holders! They usually pin me down, but this bra does the same job (I play competitive sport) but still leaves me feeling/looking feminine too! Love it.

The Best Sports bra I've had and I usually have to wear 2 sports bras as top heavy. This bra gives u lift and a great shape holds you down I'm a Running & Zumba freak & it's perfect for both, also just realised there's a little clip that turns it into a racer back too :)

Bounce is not eliminated 100%, but the monoboob is and it's just as good as wearing a wired bra under the shock absorber as I did before. It's comfy and has amazing shape.

This is perfect for keeping less bounce especially for the bigger cup. Lets hope its here to stay

This is a really great sports bra. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the design. I wear a 32FF and just tried it out jogging. There is still some bounce but I feel very supported. I've been wearing the Enell for years and this is far superior. No more uni-boob! Well done Panache!!
