Cheryl Murphy's Pink Aerobics in Beverley
In 2009 Cheryl's event raised a staggering £6300! Thank you! As our biggest fund raising organiser Cheryl received her goody box from event founder Selaine at the House of Lords.
To help those of you planning on arranging Pink Aerobics events, here is the inside info from Cheryl on how to make it a big one!
- Have a raffle! Cheryl raised almost £2000 through her raffle - she had collected 115 prizes!
- 52 people took part in the event, with 3 instructors, giving a variety of classes both indoors and out
- The event was on a Sunday afternoon from 2-4pm, with the raffle at 4pm
- Most of the participants regularly attend Cheryl's classes and the age ranged from 12-77
- Everyone raised at least £15 sponsorship, with many people raising over £100
- There was no entry fee in 2009, but Cheryl is reviewing this for 2010
