It is good in that it limits bounce but it is after a few uses it tends to loose its tightness, and even by tightening the back/shoulder straps it doesn't really help as much as it could. The band around the bottom of it could be more comfortable too, perhaps a bit more padding to stop it cutting.
This bra pretty much does what it says it will! Absorbs "shock" and minimises bounce while running! Its very comfortable with nice soft, wide straps. My only complaint is that the straps on one of mine kept coming unhooked but I just closed the gap on the hook with a pair of pliers!!
I am a 38D and this keeps my boobs in place when doing body attack - excellent
I bought two and they are great. Yes they take a bit of getting used to, but they can be done by you alone if you do the top clip up first and pull it over your head. Easier with help! Word of warning - they are a tight fit, I'm a 32 and the 34 is very snug.
Worn this for two trail running sessions and no problems, plus very comfy with a heart rate monitor. It does take a while to get used to the upper clip, which takes good flexibility to fasten, but you can get round it by fastening it first then slipping it on.
Excellent and comfortable bra. I still slightly prefer my Nike molded compression bra which ensures nothing moves when I'm running. I still get a bit of bounce with this bra, even though I'm only a 36B, but much less than most bras I've tried.
Very good support. I found that the the fit is quite tight according to the sizing. I am a 32.. normally i fasten the bras on the tightest setting, whereas this one is very snug on the widest.. Bit tricky getting in and out of but excellent to run in.. Best feature, no seam marks when it comes off
this bra is great, and it doesnt seem to stretch like the regular bras do. will be ordering more as the price reflects the quality
I was impressed with previous reviews so bought 2 on the offer. The bra itself is very comfortable, no rubbing or movement, it does exactly what I wanted it to. The only downside is the fastening clasp has already bent out of shape so its now difficult to put on & the material has started to fray
I run marathons, am 34DD and wear an Enell bra which does the job - but I am on a quest for something more wicking and less hideous. Had high hopes of the B5044 but breasts bounced when running, also very aware of breast weight in neck/shoulder due to top fastener. Can't get straps to feel right.
Does have superb support (I'm a 32E runner) but on longer runs I found it pulled hard on one shoulder. Straps need to be fitted well, as they cut in on top of shoulder rather than sitting wide so can create pressure. Enell still the best support in my opinion but totally agree with red mark point!
Reduces most bounce, but could do with something stronger across the top of the bust to eliminate that 'lift & drop' feeling. Comfortable, soft. Draws away sweat but then stays soaking wet right through the run.Expensive, doesn't look very durable. Plastic clip a gimmick serves no purpose whatsoever
Good fit (I am 36B), looks good and feels great!Slightly tricky to do up I find.
I have tried many different brands, but Shock Absorber is THE best. This bra is an excellent running bra, brilliant support and very comfortable.(36B) The only bad thing is getting it on, I found it very difficult to fasten. It is a bit more expensive than some of the others, but worth the money.
Every so often I try other bras to see if they match up to Enell for support. Support was OK but felt more secure in shock absorber N901 and Enell (bought both). It's a great looking bra (not many of these at 32E) but so hard to put on I ultimately sent it back.
This bra provides incredible support while also being really comfortable. There is no harsh under-wire that digs into you while you run. This bra holds up for 20-mile runs, no problem! This bra and the Shock Absorber B4490 are the two best Sports bras for busty women!
I was very excited to get this bra and it does provide unparralled support. That said, it also rubs my shoulder blades and is really quite cumbersome. I tend not to wear it that often as a result.
I unfortunatly found that to have this bra tight enough on the shoulders that it ended up cutting into my armpit area. I think this may be due to the size. I should imagine if I had a smaller bust this would not be the case.
It's a pretty good bra for short training sessions, but the adjustable hooks on the straps have an annoying habit of loosening themselves and pinging open during longer sessions. Not ideal 10 miles into a half marathon! Probably better for low impact workouts.
Agree with others that straps have the habit of detaching themselves! this has happened twice in Boxercise class and during kettlebell training - so relegated to back of draw. I wear 32E
Please note: this bra is designed for running, not boxercise or kettlebell training, and moving the arms sideways will cause the straps to unfasten - sorry, Selaine
Not the easiest bra to get on firstly but the thing that drives me MAD is that the straps keep pinging undone, what is the point of having a metal clip, that clips into something but easily slides out again on a running bra. You just can't rely on it staying fixed!!
This bra is great. I use for running. very comfortable. good support and nice fabric. You don't even know you are wearing it
a brilliant bra, very comfortable. Just a pig to do up so I leave the top open til i get to the gym and get someone to do it up, where there will be others who are also looking for a hand. A good buy, worth the money. Like the wide straps
Once you can get this bra on, great, but it is impossible without two people and sometimes the straps ping off. Not great for any sport if you can't rely on it staying in place and I am only a 34 C.
Please note this bra is designed specifically for running, and any sport with lateral arm movements may result in the straps undoing. Selaine
At first i loved this bra as there was little or no bounce. However during one of my bootcamp classes the stap came un done. I have no confidence in wearing this bra for a 10 mile race i have coming up in fear the same will happen again. Very disappointed
Selaine's comments: the Run bra is designed specifically for running and is not ideal for other types of activity
I loved this bra the first time I wore it for a run but the second time-during a pilates class luckily-one of the straps came undone. I am now afraid to use it while running or in the gym. It is very comfortable however so I just wear it for the non active side of my life.
Selaine says: this bra is designed for running and not for other fitness activities
I am a regular runner and compete in other high impact sports, although it was comfortable it did not prevent my 34E bust from bouncing and I did not feel supported. I therefore returned the bra.
Probably one of the best ever running bras I've worn. Very comfortable and supportive - very little movement. Only slight criticism is that the top clasp takes a bit of getting used to
I have found this bra excellent for running and also aerobics. Very comfortable and 'does what it says on the tin'!
I bought this bra because I needed something supportive so I could run after giving birth and while still breastfeeding. I am full figured anyway and always struggle to find good sports bras. This is hands down the best running sports bra I have ever owned in terms of comfort, shaping and support!
this is such a good running bra, it's really comfortable, easy to put on and the top strap across the shoulder blades keeps straps in place perfectly. I have now bought another one!
This bra is really great! It fits me very well and keeps my breats where they should be, even with high impact movement. The tissue is very comfortable and smooth. All in all, an excellent sports bra!
I am very happy with this sports bra. It is very comfortable although takes a bit of getting used to putting on. I have worn it for Zumba and will be weraing it for jogging and am confident of the support. Would reccommend this even though a bit pricey.
I bought 2 but will be back for more. It is great for jogging and cycling and even under normal clothing at work without the top clip done up. To make it perfect, it would be able to be worn as an outer garment.
This is my favourite sports bra for running. Excellent fit and comfort.
It's absolutely great - I already had it in coral!
Great for running, walking and zumba! Really supportive even for bigger boobs. I've started to wear mine the whole time because it's so comfortable! I'm getting more in other colours!
Brilliant bra - you don't know that you are wearing it, it doesn't rub and gives you excellent support.
The support is perfect. It's a very good product and comfortable. I use it for running.
I love this bra. I have four of them one and they are fantastically comfortable and so little bounce. Fully adjustable straps are great for shorties like me.
I also have the Shock Absorber B4490 for running but I find this one much, much better. It was definitely made for running in!
Riding dressage on a bouncy warmblood requires a special bra - this one is it - the only one that works - have just bought a red one and will just wear it and my jods when the weather gets hot - just perfect for the more mature woman!
AFTER TRYING A SO CALLED BEST SELLER, WHICH WAS NOT MAN ENOUGH FOR THE JOB, I BOUGHT YET ANOTHER SHOCK ABSORBER, WHICH WAS BRILLIANT! DON'T THINK I'LL BOTHER TRYING ANY OTHER BRANDS AGAIN, JUST WASTING TIME AND MONEY!
Very comfortable with good support. My bra size is 34FF but I went up to a 36FF as the 34 was too tight. Still finding the top clip a bit difficult at times but will try doing it up first as suggested.
I am a 38D and this is my second shock absorber bra. They are very comfortable to wear with the soft straps on the shoulder and the extra strap at the back guarantees that nothing moves. I use it mainly for running. Keep up the good work.
This bra is abosolutly fantastic. No bounce and feel totally secure. Highly recommend. Is the best i have found following bust surgery for exercise and now only wear this one for all sports. Have recommended to all my running buddies.
Being a regular gym goes and runner, I have always found problems getting sports bras that offer enough support whilst still allowing me to breathe. Good enough support for running, whilst comfortable and (relative to other bras) flattering. Well done Shock Absorber!
Superbly comfortable. Keeps everything in place, cool and dry. No rubbing or chafing. Very easy to put on. Great shape. I've been wearing Nike until now and this beats it hands down.
Really comfy and secure - just what you need to ensure you can focus on just running!
I am a 34F and put this bra to the test with a Crossfit workout that included and running and jump roping. I barely moved. They stayed in place I was floored!!! This bra held me in place better than the lever4. Don't let the level 3 description scare you, they don't move!!! I promise.
I love this bra so much I bought it in both white and black. it does the job and gives you a lively shape. Only comment...don't get cold...everyone will notice...I am a triathlete and it works well on the bike too!
From Lessbounce I got two bras at the same price than here in Finland I would have got only one!! I will certainly order all my sport bras from Lessbounce in the future.
Just getting back into exercise post having a baby. B5044 provides comfort and support for breastfeeding mums. Well worth it!!
Soft straps, comfortable, great fit NO bounce or movement (34C. The only bra for long distances. Some say its too expensive but its worth it and so too are you! Go on treat yourself...
This is the best running bra ever. Nothing moves!
I bought two of these in the offer - I find that they are extremely comfortable to run in - no bounce and no rubbing. A bit difficult to put on (if you live alone!) with two fastenings, but once one very secure. The big test will be the LDWA 100 mile event
The 34D feels very tight but is the best support I've ever had for running. Nothing moves and because of that there is no chafing even after 10 miles without Bodyglide. The high strap across the shoulders does take a bit of getting used to and anyone with tight shoulders may need some help with the upper fastening.
I LOVE this bra!! I've always used the B4490 but am now a dedicated convert to this run bra. It's easy to put on, comfortable, definitely stops bounce and can be perfectly adjusted to size - the first sports bra where I haven't had to cut and shorten the straps. Perfect! I'm a 30C (sometimes D) :)
I've had many fab sports bras from Shock absorber and this is no different. Agree with other reviews that it takes practise to get on but with no rubbing and no bounce its worth the effort. Only thing I would say is its pricey,if that's an issue there are other cheaper shock absorbers almost as good
I can't get over how good this bra is. I'm a 32F and nothing holds me in place like this one. I love it! Putting it on takes a little bit of practice, and it's not cheap, but it's worth it all. It's sturdy, comfortable and looks great as a top, too. The best bra for running by a long margin.
A really supportive bra which does not rub, is very comfortable and allows very little movement. It is a bit bit hard to do up, but once you are used to it it is no trouble. Straps easy to adjust. I would highly recommend and immediately bought a second one.
This is a great bra once you have worked out how to do it up!! The best thing to do is to leave it done up and just pop it on like a crop top - definitely worth it and the price!
I do a lot of high impact sports (running, aerobics, etc). I have worn many high impact bras but this is also the BEST (BEST!!!) bra i have ever worn! So little movement. SO comfortable! and it even looks good on and under clothing (despite the picture). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Tip: do up the top clip before the lower band - much easier..! A comfy bra with nice racer-back design but I still find wearing two B109s, or a level 3 over a B109 gives more support than the Run bra. B109 also gives a perkier profile; the Run bra a more compressed effect. I'm a 30D in both.
.Does the job!...Best Sports Bra for running ive had
This design holds my 36E boobs firm and gives a secure feeling. It is simply the best sports bra I have ever bought. If you run try it, you'll love it I'm sure.
Had a chance to use a few times and I must say it is the best sport bra so far. I highly recommend it. I ordered size 32F and it fits perfectly.
This bra is excellent for running, especially for longer distances. It is very similar to the shock absorber B4490 and I can highly recommend it.
Despite looking a bit scary it's really comfortable, doesn't rub or chafe anywhere and I won't run in any other sports bra now. You need to be a bit of a contortionist to fasten the top clip but it's worth the effort.
(38D).Used this bra training for and during the 2010 London Marathon. Of 3 other bras I've used in the past this is def the best. Extreemly secure yet surprisingly comfortable, great ventilation, quality material has lasted despite multiple washes. You get what you pay for. So good,I bought a second
I am a size 36E and need something with great support for running. I have tried many different styles & brands over the years and this bra gives fantastic support without being too bulky or restrictive. Nor does it make my boobs a funny shape!!
Most comfortable running bra i've got. no bounce even at 36 E. Did have a hissy fit trying to put it on the first time but once over that its the best one i've got.
If you are clocking up the miles than this is the best sports bra I have ever had and I have tried so many. It's so soft, supportive, no bounce, comfortable, size 34FF draws away sweat and no red marks. (sorry Enell I still have the scars). Great adjustable straps WOW
A great bra with a comfortable fit and no bounce. Ran London marathon with this and no chafing at all! I struggle to clip up bras behind my back, so actually find the two clip system on this really helpful.
It may be a pit pricey but it is totally worth it. Once you're properly adjusted there is virtually no movement. I'm training for a marathon and would not run in anything else now. Have always worn shock absorber bras but this is by far the best. Am only a 34B but we all need great support!
This bra is even better than the B109, which I've used when running for many years. Great smooth fit, wide comfy straps, no bounce, extremely comfortable, I just want to put it on! It is a little tricky to fasten the top clip, but this is getting easier with practise.
Good fit, does the job really well, very comfortable for running and any high impact sport
Fantastic support for a large chested woman. Thought I would have trouble finding one to give me enough support for running but it is perfect!!! Worth every penny.
I have worn many different brands of high impact sports bras for running and this is by far the best sports bra I have ever had. It is worth the price and I would highly recommend it. My bra size is 34E and the bra is a comfortable fit with no bounce.
Wore it straight from packet did 7 miles in it and can say that this is the best bra by far for running - perfect fit, comfortable, no bounce, no red marks at all. The only negative is the hefty price but worth it in the long run! size 34c
Many thanks for great service as always
Paulin
As a Shock Absorber fan I really like this bra. It's high enough at the front to hold you in and has been great for running. I like the strap length fittings as they hold secure throughout a run. I can't say that its a great deal different to the B4490 but I'd still recommend it.
